The journey of learning about Bilingual students has been an interesting and informative one. Our textbook (Assessing English Language Learners by Margo Gottlieb) has been very helpful as well as easy to read! I especially like all of the examples that are provided. Presentations made by my classmates were an additional help along this journey. Thank you to everyone for all of the great information. I had tons of fun participating in the activities that so many of you brought to class. Professor McInerney has been not only a great source of help throughout the whole program but also a wonderful support! I know that I will continue to look to her for help and support next semester as I start my first ELL position. Professor Carrillo has been wonderful during this class.
